How to make tasty Alfredo sauce

Alfredo sauce
It is essentially a kind of white sauce made usually from melted butter, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. It is normally served with pasta, most of the time fettuccine; hence the dish, Fettuccine Alfredo, is what this dish is known as. It is creamy, smooth-textured sauce, mild, and cheesy in flavor that could well serve other ingredients, such as chicken, shrimp, or veggies
History
During the early 20th century in Rome, an Italian restaurateur by the name of Alfredo Di Lelio, invented Alfredo sauce in 1914, at that time it was a much simpler recipe compared to today. The story behind it is that his pregnant wife was struggling to eat, and needed something light to digest, that’s when the dish originated, at that time it was only made with butter, parmesan cheese, and pasta water. And was named “Fettuccine al burro”.
When American actors Douglas and Mary went to Italy, they decided to visit Alfredo’s restaurant, there they loved the dish so much that they decided to bring it back to America with them, which helped the dish gain international popularity
