2 tbsp Coriander powder
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- Paratha (wrap)
500 grams all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup curd
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp baking powder
1.5 cups water
- Sauce
100 grams curd
30 ml sriracha sauce
1 lemon
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp oregano
Chopped coriander
Directions
- Paratha recipe
- First let’s prepare the dough for our wrap, in a mixing bowl add 1/2 kg all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder and give it a mix
- In the same mixing bowl, add in curd, 1 tbs of oil (save rest for adding while kneading) curd, and pour water gradually and knead until everything is well combined, now add in the remaining oil and knead again for 2-3 minutes, rest aside for 15-20 minutes
- Chicken filling
- Now take a chicken breast, remove bones, fat and wash it thoroughly, rinse, and cut it into stripes
- In a mixing bowl, prepare the marination by first adding, olive oil, coriander powder, smoked paprika, ginger garlic paste, salt, and black pepper. Mix until combined, add in chicken strips toss generously, and rest for 30 minutes
- Take a grill pan, drizzle it with oil evenly until oil coats up the pan, add in the marinated chicken strips, and grill each side until grill marks appear
- For the wrap (paratha) First make a small dough ball, dust it with flour, and roll it out in a thin circle (6-8 inches in diameter).
- Now heat a tawa or skillet on medium heat. Place the rolled paratha on it. Cook for 30-40 seconds on one side, flip, and add a little olive oil. Press lightly and cook until golden brown spots appear. Repeat for the other side.
- Sauce
- Let’s make the sauce, by first taking 100 grams of curd, adding in sriracha, chopped coriander, lemon, garlic paste, salt, and oregano, and combining until smooth
- Take the warp (paratha) spread sauce, fill it up with lettuce, add in pickled onions, now add grilled chicken stripes, drizzle it with sauce again, close the wrap tightly, and serve
Notes
- You can use tortilla bread, instead of paratha (wrap)
- Be generous with the spices, if your chicken looks colorless, you didn’t add enough spices
- Use any sauce of your choice, like mayonnaise, etc
